Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Perform clinical evaluations and medication therapy management for inpatients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety.
- Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication dispensing and record-keeping.
- Educate patients and staff on proper medication use and potential side effects.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license preferred; however, candidates willing to obtain the Act 10 temporary license will be considered.
- Prior experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital or institutional setting.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records and Omnicell automated dispensing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including days and afternoons.
