We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong background in wood refinery/manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, while supporting a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing operation.

Schedule:
This facility operates in a 24/7 manufacturing environment using a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.
Candidates must be flexible and willing to workday or night shifts, including rotating days off.
Example Rotation:
Week 1
Work: Monday – Tuesday
Off: Wednesday – Thursday
Work: Friday – Sunday
Week 2
Off: Monday – Tuesday
Work: Wednesday – Thursday
Off: Friday – Sunday
Shift Hours:
Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Maintain and repair wood refinery/manufacturing processing equipment
- Diagnose mechanical failures and complete corrective repairs to reduce downtime
- Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and production machinery
- Perform equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Complete equipment installations, modifications, and repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all OSHA, safety, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Partner with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, refinery, wood processing, or similar industrial environments
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment
- Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred (480V experience a plus)
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work around industrial equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with noise, heat, and moving equipment
- Ability to work overtime, weekends.
