Daltex Glass & Aluminum is growing and looking for a strong industry leader to help improve sales, customer service, project execution, installation quality, and commercial market expansion. We specialize in glass, glazing, storefront, custom glass, shower glass, mirrors, aluminum, doors, windows, and related hardware.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands both the office and field side of the glass business.

Position Summary

The Sales & Operations Manager will lead sales, estimating, customer service, installation coordination, field execution, and commercial growth for Daltex Glass & Aluminum.

This person must have strong experience in glass, glazing, storefront, aluminum systems, and installation management. The ideal candidate will also help the company become qualified to work with schools, municipalities, government entities, general contractors, and larger commercial customers.

This is a leadership position with growth potential, a bonus opportunity, and potential equity participation for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day sales and installation operations.
• Grow revenue through commercial, residential, storefront, contractor, school, and government opportunities.
• Meet with customers, contractors, builders, property managers, schools, and commercial accounts.
• Prepare and review estimates, bids, scopes of work, material needs, and project timelines.
• Manage customer follow-up from quote to installation completion.
• Improve customer service, communication, scheduling, and project closeout.
• Manage installation crews and ensure jobs are completed safely, correctly, and on time.
• Review field measurements, drawings, takeoffs, and project specifications.
• Coordinate glass, aluminum, hardware, doors, storefront systems, mirrors, shower glass, and related materials.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to improve pricing, delivery, and material planning.
• Help obtain required vendor registrations, licenses, certifications, insurance requirements, bonding support, and bid qualifications for government, school, and commercial work.
• Help Daltex become approved to work with school districts, municipalities, public agencies, and larger commercial contractors.
• Train and develop sales, customer service, warehouse, and installation team members.
• Track job profitability, change orders, labor hours, material usage, and gross margin.
• Build repeat business through professional customer service and high-quality installation.

Required Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in glass, glazing, storefront, commercial glass, or aluminum systems.
• Strong knowledge of storefront systems, aluminum framing, glass doors, windows, mirrors, shower glass, and hardware.
• Experience with commercial glass estimating, project management, or field installation leadership.
• Ability to read plans, drawings, measurements, scopes of work, and specifications.
• Ability to manage installers, schedules, vendors, and multiple active jobs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience working with general contractors, property managers, schools, municipalities, or commercial customers.
• Strong understanding of job costing, margins, change orders, labor planning, and project profitability.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.
• Experience with school district, government, city, or public-sector vendor registration.
• Experience with NACC, AGMT, OSHA, safety, contractor registration, or glazing-related certifications.
• Existing relationships in the Dallas–Fort Worth glass, glazing, construction, school, or commercial contractor market.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Fishbowl, CRM systems, estimating software, project management tools, or CAD/shop drawing coordination.
• Experience with storefront, curtain wall, window wall, commercial doors, and hardware.

Compensation

• Starting base salary from $100,000+, with higher compensation available based on experience
