The role will primarily be remote, enhancing work-life balance while providing you with the flexibility to create a productive and comfortable home office setting. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, with a structured five-day work week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and opportunities for some flexible scheduling to cater to patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n
As a Trauma-Informed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform treatment plans.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique path to trauma recovery, with an emphasis on building resilience.
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
- Delivering engaging individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate processing of trauma experiences, development of coping strategies, and encouragement of emotional healing.
- Collaborating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Offering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your skills to stabilize distressed clients.
- Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
- Maintaining precise and confidential documentation that meets all legal and ethical standards.
- Participating in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.
- Keeping current with latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
Your work will primarily involve individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will utilize your knowledge and experience to support these individuals, who may be dealing with a range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges as they navigate their recovery journeys.
Qualifications\n
To succeed in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
- A calm demeanor under pressure and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
- The ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
