Title: Business Litigation Attorney
Location: Santa Rosa, CA (Hybrid)
Salary: $145k-$190k/yr DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of litigation, with a focus on representing businesses in disputes and legal proceedings. This role requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to think strategically, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in business litigation cases, including contract disputes, employment issues, and real estate matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations in various business matters.
- Develop case strategies and conduct discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting business litigation.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive legal support.
- Maintain client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business litigation or related areas.
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Experience in estate planning, labor law, real estate law, or intellectual property is a plus.
