Job DescriptionJob Overview: Pay Range: $51hr - $56hr
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact for all customer technical inquiries, change requests, and communications related to gas turbine projects and associated auxiliaries.
- Coordinate with customers, EPCs, project management teams, engineering organizations, COEs, commercial operations, global supply chain, and field personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and feed lessons learned back into design engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance to project management and applications/regional engineering teams.
- Conduct Customer Kick-Off Meetings (CKOMs) and Design Liaison Meetings (DLMs) with customers and EPC representatives.
- Review contract documentation and communicate project requirements to internal engineering teams.
- Evaluate financial and schedule impacts of scope changes using Cost & Cycle Estimates (CCEs) and support change order implementation.
- Support resolution of cross-functional design issues and technical challenges.
- Mitigate engineering schedule risks and take proactive actions to avoid delays.
- Manage engineering budgets and provide quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates to finance teams.
- Provide technical support across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, and installation teams.
- Present project updates, risks, and resolution plans to senior leadership.
Required Skills And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution OR high school diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering, design engineering, or field engineering related to generator or similar projects.
- Experience working in cross-functional and customer-facing environments.
- Ability to evaluate project scope changes and manage cost/schedule impacts.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.
