PURPOSE
The Project Manager is a key leader at TEC Electric, overseeing day-to-day job site operations, coordinating project activities, and managing crews of electricians. This role ensures projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards, while fostering employee engagement and accountability. Travel up to 40% may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead project crews, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring progress.

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and trade best practices.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and collaborate with engineering/design teams.

Oversee project timelines, budgets, staffing, materials, and equipment needs.

Conduct performance check-ins and maintain departmental project documentation.

Promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial electrical projects.

Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.

Proven experience managing multiple commercial projects.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented with technical knowledge of electrical systems and calculations.
