We’re working with a well-established manufacturer of custom-built precision machinery that’s looking for a Project Estimator who likes the front end of projects — where ideas turn into real machines.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building cost estimates and proposals for engineered-to-order machinery and capital equipment

Reviewing RFQs, prints, BOMs, and specs to understand what’s really being built

Working closely with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to validate pricing
-
Gathering and comparing vendor quotes

Helping shape pricing strategy and proposal details
-
Supporting the handoff once a project is awarded so nothing gets lost in translation

What We’re Looking For

Experience in project estimating, manufacturing estimating, or proposal development

Comfort reading mechanical drawings and BOMs

Strong Excel and cost-breakdown skills
-
Background in machinery, automation, manufacturing, tooling, or capital equipment

Someone who’s detail-oriented but still easy to work with
