Hartzell Industries is hiring a Network Engineer to manage and support the company’s core IT infrastructure. This hands-on role combines network administration, and user support, making it a great fit for a well-rounded IT professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.


You’ll be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Cisco/Meraki networks, Office 365 administration, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and support.


Responsibilities:

Network & Infrastructure Support

  • Configure and maintain network switches (Cisco/Meraki), wireless access points, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Manage firewall policies (FortiClient) and network security protocols.
  • Design, support, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure.

Cloud, Security & Authentication

  • Support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Implement and manage Duo Security or similar MFA solutions.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.

User & Application Support

  • Provide desktop/laptop support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and ERP system support.
  • Utilize remote support tools (e.g., LogMeIn Rescue) for technical assistance.
  • Support Office 365 applications and maintain end-user satisfaction.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist with camera/security systems and provide basic SQL support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems and procedures.
  • Stay current with evolving IT technologies and security best practices.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in network administration.

· Proficiency with Cisco/Meraki networks, firewalls (FortiClient), and VPNs.

· Hands-on experience with DHCP/DNS.

· Experience supporting Office 365, Azure, and Remote Desktop environments.

· Familiarity with SSL, MFA (preferably Duo), and disaster recovery practices.

· Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
