About the RoleWe are seeking a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and designing projects across multiple sectors, including food service, retail, and industrial facilities. Electrical design in food service/dining and retail sectors a plus!This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative and efficient engineering solutions from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design and development of electrical or mechanical systems for various commercial and industrial projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Review and seal engineering drawings and calculations in compliance with state and local codes.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and assessments as required.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (required).
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in at least (1) U.S. State
- 5+ years of relevant experience in building systems design or industrial projects.
- Proven experience with food service, retail, or industrial project types preferred.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (NEC, ASHRAE, etc.).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
