**Join Our Team as a Radiation Therapist!** **Job Description:** - Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm - Enjoy a balanced work-life with **No weekends** and **No call!** - **Truebeam/Aria experience preferred** - **Ohio Department of Health License** preferred upon submission **Your Role:** As a Radiation Therapist, you will: - Work under general supervision to deliver remarkable patient care and treatment. - Perform radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by a physician, adhering to established standards and practices. - Engage with patients by obtaining histories, explaining procedures, and observing them for reactions during treatment. - Schedule patients for treatments and consult with a multidisciplinary team, including physicists and supportive care providers. - Ensure accurate treatments by verifying prescriptions and patient details. - Document treatment plans and progress reports efficiently. - Prepare patients and rooms for treatment, ensuring comfort and safety. - Reinforce physicians' recommendations regarding care and side effect management. - Enhance your professional growth through ongoing education and participation in workshops. **Qualifications:** - Education: - Associate's degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy required. - Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy preferred. - Licensures/Certifications: - State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist. - ARRT license. - CPR certified. - Experience: - 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred. - Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficient problem-solving abilities. - Capable of handling multiple priorities and making independent decisions. **Organizational Values:** - **Empathy:** Provide compassionate, patient-centered care. - **Integrity:** Uphold ethical behavior and deliver on promises. - **Stewardship:** Use resources wisely and support the community. - **Agility:** Find creative solutions and anticipate needs. - **Teamwork:** Collaborate effectively and foster a spirit of belonging. **Working Environment:** - **Physical Capacity Demand:** Medium work, capable of exerting up to 20-50 pounds occasionally. - **Cognitive Requirements:** - Strong analytical abilities and memory. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
