The Retail Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in driving sales and delivering excellent customer service within an apparel and accessories store. This role focuses on assisting customers, managing sales transactions, and supporting the store’s presentation and team goals. Working closely with a small team, the specialist helps meet both team monthly and store quarterly sales targets without the need to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Use upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain attractive and organized store presentation
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Collaborate effectively within a small team of 1-5 members
• Contribute to achieving team monthly and store quarterly sales targets

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail sales
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proven ability in upselling and teamwork
• Effective problem-solving capabilities
