Assistant Project Manager – Facade Restoration
- Location: Manhattan job sites (reporting to Queens office occasionally)
- Salary: Up to $80,000/year

A well-established exterior restoration contractor, with over 50 years of continuous operation, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support ongoing facade restoration projects throughout New York City. The company is family-owned, with a solid pipeline of both public and private sector work, and is recognized for its technical knowledge, compliance expertise, and long-term client relationships.
Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in the coordination of all phases of exterior facade restoration work. This includes schedule tracking, budgeting support, subcontractor coordination, and field supervision. The role also involves preparing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring code compliance (including Local Law 11/FISP), and assisting in managing communication across site teams, clients, and consultants to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of facade restoration projects from start to finish
- Assist with subcontractor scheduling, site coordination, and resource tracking
- Maintain documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports
- Help ensure compliance with NYC Building Codes and FISP (Local Law 11) requirements
- Participate in site walkthroughs, inspections, and progress reporting
- Serve as a point of contact between field teams and project stakeholders
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, facade restoration, or building envelope work
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with NYC facade compliance requirements and building codes is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to work daily on active job sites in Manhattan and report to the Queens office as needed
