Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime and take call-ins as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPrimary Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively troubleshoot and repair designated equipment.
- Ability to prioritize information and tasks within your assigned area.
- Troubleshoot failures and upsets on plant equipment, including pumps, motors, rotating equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Conduct inspections, lubrications, and diagnosing trouble sources in machinery and equipment.
- Repairing/ modifying or replacing new and existing plant equipment.
- Planning and laying out work, interpreting blueprints, manuals, and other specifications.
- Safely use a variety of tools and equipment associated with completion of varied work assignments.
Requirements:
- Certified Journeyman with a minimum of 3 years of journeyman experience OR a 2-year educational certificate/associate degree in industrial maintenance or other relevant course of study and 3 years applicable work experience OR must have 7 or more years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.
- Completion of a qualified maintenance training program and 3 years relevant work experience OR minimum of 7 years relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You should have worked in your current position for at least 18 months and meet the pre-requisites of the position
Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday- Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
