The Customer Service Cashier plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience by efficiently managing transactions and addressing customer inquiries. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail to maintain high-quality service and accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely and accurately.
  • Assist customers with product questions and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing and discounts are applied correctly.
  • Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve customer satisfaction.
