Laboratory Manager
LOCATION: Egg Harbor Township, NJ
JOB STATUS: FT
TRAVEL: As needed
SALARY RANGE: Estimated $75,000 - $130,000
*dependent on experience, certifications, and qualifications*
Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Manager, at The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust suitability determination.
- 7 or more years of operational experience in the En Route or Terminal environment
- High school diploma or General Equivalence Diploma and completion of related technical training curriculum
- Programming languages: Python, Java, SQL, Powershell, Batch, HTML
- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Amazon Chime, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Wireshark, Cisco Prime
- ITSM Software: GitLab, JIRA, ServiceNow
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Servers (Dell, HP, NVidia), Routers and switches (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Nvidia, Broadcom), Laptops, Printers, Mobile Devices (Zebra Scanners, iPhones, Anrdoid)
- TCP/IP Networking: OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, RSTP, BGP, Cisco IOS, JunOS, 802.11
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily lab operations, including scheduling, workflow, and productivity monitoring
- Implement and monitor quality control measures; ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Manage procurement, maintenance, and calibration of lab equipment; maintain adequate inventory
- Develop and implement new methods, programs, and technologies to enhance lab efficiency and results
