Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
\n
Auto Hauler Exchange is the direct carrier-to-shipper vehicle logistics platform built to cut brokers out of the equation. Our Marketing team moves fast across web, email, social, sales enablement, and events — and this role is the engine that keeps our physical and logistical operations running.
\n
We're looking for a highly organized, in-office coordinator who can own event logistics, ABM fulfillment, podcast production support, cross-functional coordination with our Product team, and more. You'll be the person who makes sure the booth ships on time, the swag lands on the right desk, the hotel is booked, and the trains all run on time.
\n
\n
This role comes with real ownership. You'll run your areas — events, ABM fulfillment, podcast logistics — end to end, which means you're expected to bring your own ideas on how to make them better, not just execute a checklist. If you think the after-party venue should change, the swag strategy is stale, or there's a smarter way to coordinate with Product on launches, we want to hear it. You'll work closely with the VP of Marketing on overall direction, but within your domains, you'll have the room to make calls and improve how things run.
\n
\n
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
\n
Product Marketing Support
\n
- \n
- Partner with the Product team on new feature releases: coordinate creation of knowledge base articles and how-to videos
- Work with Product and Support to identify documentation gaps and keep the knowledge base current
- Record videos for product walkthroughs and create email campaigns to promote them
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Event & Conference Management
\n
- \n
- Own end-to-end logistics for trade shows and conferences: conference attendance decisions, booth shipping, setup/breakdown coordination, speaking sessions, hotel and flight booking, badge registration
- Plan and execute AHX-hosted events (e.g., the Detroit Auto Show after-party): venue, catering, guest list, invites, on-site coordination, and post-event recap
- Manage event budgets and vendor relationships (booth vendors, printers, venues, travel)
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
ABM & Sales Enablement Support
\n
- \n
- Partner with the Sales team on account-based marketing campaigns: coordinate and ship direct mail pieces, swag, and client gifts
- Manage swag/gift inventory and vendor relationships
- Track fulfillment against ABM target account lists and flag gaps
- Coordinate with the sales team on target account list reachouts
- Build out the referral program, track referrals, and send out referral gifts
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Podcast Production Support
\n
- \n
- Coordinate recording for the Dealer Out of Office podcast: equipment setup, and recording-day support
\n
\n
\n
General Marketing Operations
\n
- \n
- Handle day-to-day office and marketing ops needs as they come up — supplies, mailings, vendor coordination, ad hoc requests
- Serve as a flexible extra set of hands for the VP of Marketing across whatever the team needs that week
\n
\n
\n
\n
WHAT YOU BRING:
\n
- \n
- 2+ years in a marketing coordination, event planning, or office/operations role
- Excellent organizational skills — you can juggle five moving logistics threads without dropping one
- Comfortable with hands-on physical logistics: packing boxes, coordinating shipments, receiving and organizing inventory
- Strong vendor management and negotiation instincts (hotels, printers, swag suppliers)
- Proactive and detail-oriented; you catch the thing that would've fallen through the cracks
- Clear, professional communicator — you'll be coordinating directly with executives, hosts, and external vendors
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight; this team is lean
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Nice to have:
\n
- \n
- Experience with HubSpot, Webflow, Riverside, Descript, or similar marketing tools
- Familiarity with ABM workflows
- Event management experience
- Automotive, logistics, or B2B marketplace industry background
- Basic video editing or Canva design skills
- Familiarity with Claude

\n
A NOTE ON TEAM CONTEXT:
\n
You'll be joining a lean, fast-moving marketing team reporting to AHX's VP of Marketing. The team is currently in a build phase, which means you'll get real ownership fast — not just a task list, but actual say in how events, ABM campaigns, and product launches come together. Your judgment and organizational instincts will directly shape how smoothly (and creatively) this stuff lands.
\n
\n
HOW TO APPLY:
\n
If you're ready to take on a diverse and exciting role in a fast-paced startup, we'd love to hear from you! Please submit your resume, along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you're interested in joining Auto Hauler Exchange.
