As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Culinary Administrator to assist our culinary production team with administrative, logistical, and accounting needs.

Job Summary:

The Culinary Administrator ensures the smooth operation of kitchen logistics, administrative functions, and culinary support processes. This role requires experience with administrative functions such as client billing, inventory ordering, staff scheduling, and invoice management. Our commissary plays a key role in producing dough for all our restaurants and manufacturing frozen pizzas, with more exciting projects on the horizon. This position serves as a bridge between culinary staff, management, and external vendors, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality control in a high-volume food production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing & Invoicing
    • Process and manage all billing related to commissary operations, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Ordering & Inventory Management
    • Oversee the ordering process for all commissary supplies, including dough ingredients and packaging materials for frozen pizzas, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed on time.
  • Scheduling
    • Develop and manage detailed schedules for commissary staff to ensure proper coverage and productivity.
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders, deliveries, invoices, and inventory transactions.
  • Supplier Coordination
    • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders.
  • Reporting
    • Assist in generating reports related to inventory, costs, and production efficiency for management review.
  • Budget Management
    • Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets and track expenses for commissary operations.
  • Compliance & Quality Control
    • Ensure that all administrative tasks align with company policies, food safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Project Support
    • Assist in the administration of new projects, such as developing new products for the commissary, as the business grows.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles within food service, supply chain, or commissary operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, ordering processes, and billing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with inventory management software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, team members, and restaurant managers.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in food safety or administrative functions are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in scheduling software or managing staff schedules.
  • Knowledge of food production operations or working in a commissary environment.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking.
  • Ability to adapt to a growing and evolving business with new product lines and projects.

Benefits:

  • Salary range: $55,00 - $65,000
