Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This individual will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to learn and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries
- Maintain strong knowledge of tactical apparel and gear (training provided)
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to customers
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and emails
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management, restocking, and merchandising
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- To act with integrity in all actions and decisions
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, and work well with the team
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Dependable, reliable, and punctual
- Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
- Basic computer skills; Knowledge in Microsoft Office; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Tactical or military/law enforcement background is a plus
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move 10-30 lb. merchandise/items as needed
- Available to work M-F 8am-5pm
