About the Role
Agileana is seeking multiple expert-level Drupal professionals to support high-profile federal government digital initiatives. We are hiring for the following roles:
- Drupal Architect
- Drupal Frontend Developer
- Drupal Backend Developer
- Drupal Team Lead
You will join our elite Drupal team responsible for modernizing and maintaining high-traffic, mission-critical federal government websites. Our portfolio includes work with the FCC, NARA, HHS, EPA, and the U.S. Courts.
Required Qualifications
- Residency in the United States
- Minimum 7 years of professional Drupal experience
- Active member of the Drupal Association
- Proven experience with Drupal 10/11, including custom module development and theming
- Familiarity with federal web standards, including Section 508, USWDS, and FISMA
- Experience supporting high-traffic, complex Drupal websites (e.g., federal agency portals)
- Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows
- Comfortable working in an agile, cross-functional team environment
Ideal Candidates
- ActiveAcquia Drupal certification (Site Builder, Frontend, Backend, or Triple-Certified Expert)
- Have worked on federal Drupal migration projects (e.g., D7 to D11)
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility)
- Are based in theWashington, DC metro area (preferred but not required)
- Are passionate about open-source contributions, accessibility, and human-centered design
- Thrive in collaborative, fully remote teams and communicate clearly and effectively
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
