Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Lafayette, LA | Full-Time | Onsite- Hybrid Potential

We are seeking a forward-thinking and execution-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead enterprise-wide technology strategy and operations. As a key member of the executive team, the CTO will be responsible for aligning technology with business goals, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across infrastructure, security, and application development.

Key Focus Areas:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards
- Partner with executive leadership to drive innovation and operational efficiency
Product Development & Engineering Oversight
- Lead internal product initiatives supporting clinical and patient engagement workflows
- Supervise cross-functional software teams using Agile methodology
- Drive integration with third-party systems and ensure product scalability and performance
Enterprise Applications & Data Management
- Ensure performance, stability, and security across all core applications
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Oversee enterprise-wide cybersecurity and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR)
- Lead incident response planning, security audits, and third-party risk management
- Regularly report on security posture to executive leadership and Board committees
Infrastructure & IT Operations
- Direct operations of cloud services, networks, enterprise infrastructure, and internal IT support
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk departments to manage audits and ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Mentor high-performing IT and security teams, promoting innovation and accountability
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and performance-based culture
Qualifications:
- 20+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 10+ years in senior IT operations or infrastructure and cybersecurity management roles
- Proven experience in regulated environments; healthcare strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Deep understanding of infrastructure, security, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and Agile development
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus
