Masterswitch IT is a technology infrastructure firm that develops and delivers fully-managed support and infrastructure for businesses in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Organizations large and small rely on our teams to keep their business up and running. We pride ourselves on engineering meaningful solutions that efficiently meet our clients’ needs and help them succeed. We are looking to add to our team in March 2026.
What you will be doing:
You will be the interface between masterswitch IT and our client base, working as part of a highly-focused team, delivering technology solutions and support in diverse environments, and making recommendations across a broad area of information technology. You will also be contributing in ongoing efforts to streamline internal processes and methods of client service delivery. Opportunities to explore new platforms and technology challenges are encouraged, supported, and rewarded.
All employees are responsible for masterswitch IT information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of masterswitch IT’s information assets in accordance with the company’s information security program.
You will be responsible for:
-Designing, implementing, and maintaining client infrastructure and responding to support requests remotely and on-site at a client location, when necessary
-Helping build secure infrastructure that meets client industry requirements
-Investigating and addressing client requests and issues through to full resolution
-Facilitating customer communication, education, and satisfaction
-Managing disparate infrastructure across a broad range of industries
-Helping cross-discipline co-workers when asked and taking the initiative to reach out to co-workers when you feel you have something to contribute
-Staying current on the latest and greatest technologies
Skills and requirements
How you got here isn’t as important as what you know and how you share that knowledge. But you will need the following to succeed:
· Strong understanding of Windows platform and configuration best-practices;
* Cross-platform, server and network protocols. knowledge is essential
· Proven record of offering consistent superior levels of customer service
· Solid understanding of networking and computer hardware
· Excellent software troubleshooting skills
· 2-4 years college degree preferably in a technical field or relevant work experience
· Excellent communication & documentation skills
