Compensation:

$20 - $20.50 hourly


Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Assign workloads, and train new or existing team members on cleaning protocols.

  • Quality Inspections: Routinely inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance standards.

  • Inventory Control: Monitor supplies, linens, and cleaning equipment. Reorder items when stock runs low to keep carts fully equipped.

  • Guest Services: Address guest complaints or special requests (e.g., extra towels, specific room needs) in a professional and timely manner.

  • Cross-Department Coordination: Communicate with the front desk regarding room statuses (dirty vs. inspected/ready) and the maintenance team for any facility repairs.

  • Administrative Duties: Update room statuses in the hotel property management system (PMS), maintain attendance logs, and log lost-and-found items.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to motivate team members. This role is essential for bridging communication gaps between front-line staff and management and enhancing productivity, making it integral to the success of our organization. Qualifications:

  • Experience in supervising housekeeping teams in a hospitality setting, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Proven track record of managing inventory effectively, ensuring supplies and equipment are always available and well-maintained.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate efficiently with front desk and maintenance teams, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Proficiency in using hotel property management systems (PMS) for updating room statuses and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Detail-oriented approach to conducting quality inspections, ensuring all areas meet the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance standards.
