Job Title: Capital Equipment Engineering and Operations Manager
Job Location: On-Site in Tulsa, OK
Job Salary: $120K- $140K + 10% bonus
Requirements: Ability to lead technical operations in capital equipment manufacturing , and ASME-compliant systems, knowledgeable in global supply management and diverse order types (ETO, MTO, CTO, MTS), and skilled in Lean, VAVE, and project management
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering and Operations Manager to oversee and lead the engineering team and operations within the organization. This role aims to ensure efficient production processes, adherence to design specifications, and compliance with industry standards, ultimately driving operational excellence and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for capital equipment procurement and management, focusing on global suppliers and capital assets.
- Ensure compliance with ASME Code and ISO 9001 standards in all engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the design and development of pressure vessel systems, utilizing CAD software for accurate modeling and documentation.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste within production processes.
- Collaborate with supply chain operations to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and components.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in engineering and operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of ASME Code and pressure vessel design requirements.
- Proficiency in CAD software and ERP systems for managing engineering projects and operations.
- Experience with capital equipment management and working with global suppliers.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
