TMB, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Acquisition Analyst to support the PEO Ships Front Office (PMS 347).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain acquisition strategies, contracting actions, and milestone decision documentation in alignment with NAVSEA, program sponsors, FMB, and Congressional requirements.
- Prepare recurring reports, respond to inquiries, and facilitate contract execution.
- Liaise closely with PMS 347 support team members and associated activities.
- Provide direct support to the PAPM in RFP development and source selection processes.
- Support acquisition planning, documentation, and program execution.
- Create briefings, reports, and materials for senior leadership.
- Respond to short-notice, unplanned requirements with flexibility and professionalism.
- Collect, review, and analyze data to provide actionable recommendations to the Government.
- Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets; serve as a central point of contact.
- Coordinate and execute meetings, events, and off-site activities.
- Support program reviews, milestone decision reviews, and conferences.
- Draft and review briefing materials and process documentation.
- Understand organizational structure, interagency relationships, and internal culture to inform recommendations.
- Provide writing support for technical and annual reports.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in acquisition strategy development and RFP creation.
- Minimum of 10 years supporting U.S. Navy acquisition programs with a deep understanding of DoD procurement, contracting, and program management.
- The position operates in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment with a lean team, requiring agility, initiative, and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with DOD acquisition lifecycle documentation and terminology.
- Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Outstanding time management and organization skills.
- Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
- Ability to be able to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
- Ability to be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in a backpack or messenger bag in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
