Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production to optimize tool designs and processes.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of tools and dies to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality standards within the department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tool and die manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant tools.
You should be proficient in:
- CNC Tooling
- Troubleshooting Skills
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Manual Machining Skills
- Tool/Die
- Blueprint Reading
