A nationally respected corporate law firm with a top tier transactional practice is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its growing team in Stamford, Connecticut. About the Role
The firm is seeking an attorney with 3 to 6 years of general corporate transactional experience, ideally gained at a major law firm. Candidates should have meaningful experience working on mergers and acquisitions transactions and a strong foundation in core corporate work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead components of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including drafting, diligence, and negotiation
- Work on a broad range of corporate matters, including governance, commercial contracts, and general transactional work
- Collaborate with partners and cross disciplinary teams on complex, time sensitive deals
- Manage client relationships with a focus on responsiveness, clarity, and commercial judgment
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of corporate transactional experience, preferably from a Big Law or highly sophisticated corporate practice
- Strong experience with mergers and acquisitions transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, team oriented environment
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week in the Stamford office, 3 days remote
