Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager -Technical Center to join our team. The Engineering Manager -Technical Center is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Technical Center Mechanical Laboratory with 2 direct reports including budgeting, equipment management and personnel management and lab accreditation oversight.
• Manage the entry level engineers and engineering internship program 1 direct report + Int(s)
• Support the quality department in maintaining the A2LA Lab accreditation
• Manage drawing & 3d model creation along with 3D printing requests
• Support assigned customers with engineering services including but not limited to cost savings projects, resourcing, training, consolidation and standardization, etc.
• Support assigned branches with technical consulting, print reviews, quotation assistance etc.
• Provide general support and project leadership for other Technical Services initiatives

Must Haves:

• Bachelor Degree in engineering from an accredited university (BSME preferred)
• 10 years work experience in engineering or related role.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and engineering principals
• Ability to create and understand 3D modeling and print creation
• Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing
• Experience working with Microsoft based software programs. (word, excel, power point, etc.)
• Ability to understand and work with material, dimensional and testing specifications
