Title: Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer

Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to elevate our core technology environment. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership, driving the design, implementation, and support of cloud network infrastructure, employee productivity platforms, and Okta SSO integrations. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, scalable, and efficient operations while influencing business and engineering teams to identify and deliver optimal solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure: Architect, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance Cloud, Wi-Fi, and VPN solutions supporting a global workforce.
- Identity & Access Management: Lead Okta SSO integrations, lifecycle management, MFA enforcement, and adoption of security best practices.
- Employee Productivity Tools: Oversee deployment and ongoing support of collaboration platforms (Slack, M365, Zoom, Atlassian), ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Security & Compliance: Partner with InfoSec to enforce policies, manage endpoint protections, and maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF standards.
- Automation & Monitoring: Develop scripts, monitoring frameworks, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to IT staff, fostering operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering process improvements and automation enhancements with clear documentation.
- Deep expertise in networking: AWS Cloud, Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, VPNs, and Terraform IaC.
- Hands-on administration of SaaS platforms: Okta, Slack, M365, Zoom, Atlassian.
- Advanced knowledge of endpoint provisioning and configuration: Mac/Windows, MDM solutions (Kandji, Automox).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve escalated Helpdesk issues (L3 support).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
- Industry certifications preferred: CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, Okta Certified Professional, CompTIA Security+.
- Demonstrated success in improving system reliability, scalability, and security through automation and best practices.
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate technical concepts into clear business language.
