Key Responsibilities
- Hardware Preparation: Image, configure, and test desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, monitors) before end-user rollout.
- Data & Profile Migration: Assist users with backing up data and transferring accounts/files to new devices.
- Software Deployment: Utilize endpoint management tools to install and validate operating systems and business applications.
- Asset Management: Track equipment inventory, maintain accurate serial number logs, and oversee the secure decommissioning of old hardware.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot initial hardware and software issues and provide post-deployment support.
Typical Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–4 years in desktop support, or PC deployment.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and device imaging software.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, a process-driven mentality, and strong customer service.
