Job Description

Job DescriptionKDG Construction Consulting is seeking a Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) Refresh Office Engineer join our growing team. The TBIT Refresh Office Engineer provides a broad spectrum of technical and administrative duties primarily associated with submittal and Request for Information (RFI) management as well as construction management support. Supports the project management team (project manager, assistant PM, construction manager, design manager, etc.).

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist the TDIP Refresh project team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into Prolog, and prepare management information status report, as required.
  • Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in Prolog, the project information system.
  • Maintain project files and document / submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). Work with the TBIT Refresh Contractor(s) to ensure the drawings are posted efficiently and in a timely manner. Distribute documents, submittals and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments, obtain management approval and issue responses to TBIT Refresh Contractor(s).
  • Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.
  • Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as: attend and document project meetings (write agendas and minutes), perform expediting functions, and prepare and maintain an expediting log; etc.

Hardware/Software Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
  • Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field required
  • Experience with projects more than $50 million in value
  • Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
  • Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional license or certifications.

Anticipated Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $91,200.00 per year
The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience, and work location.
