Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance for our team in Covington, Louisiana. This is a long-term contract position that requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to technical support inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure end-user satisfaction.
• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory accounts, ensuring proper access and security protocols.
• Provide assistance with Microsoft Windows 10 installations, updates, and configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across various devices.
• Track and prioritize service desk tickets to maintain efficient workflow.
• Deliver clear and concise technical guidance to users experiencing difficulties.
• Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and propose effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of workstations and peripheral equipment.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.• Proficiency in Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
• Experience with basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
• Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
