Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701\n

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

\n

Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Patient ratio 1:2. Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed. Half of weekends required during contract.

  • Level I Trauma ICU experience in a 16-bed unit with 14 rooms
  • \n

  • Work with a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
  • \n

  • Epic charting system utilized for all patient documentation
  • \n

  • 91-day travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
  • \n

  • Orientation provided with onsite module completion
  • \n

Requirements:\n

    \n
  • Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submittal)
  • \n

  • 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • \n

  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • \n

  • Epic charting experience required
  • \n

  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • \n

  • Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
  • \n

  • Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance
  • \n

  • Level I Trauma experience preferred
  • \n

  • Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
  • \n
