Role: Java Developer with Scala or Scala Developer (04 opening)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid Model)Duration: 12+ months Contract
One who can work Onsite is preferred
NOTE: i94 copy is required with all submissions (H1B)
Overview:
The ideal candidate will have at least one of the following technical skills.
- High degree of competence with Java Software Development with Scala
- High degree of competence with Scala Software Development
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience.
- Min-7+ years' experience required
- Good experience writing software using a modern programming language (e.g. Java, Scala, Python)
- Experience writing/maintaining regression tests (using Fitnesse/Cucumber)
- Experience and knowledge of Apache Spark
- Good software development foundation (i.e., data structures, design patterns & principles)
- Good grip on agile software development methodology (e.g., Scrum)
- Ownership & problem-solving mindset
- Curious, inquisitive, independent
