As the General Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the division’s performance, including strategic planning, revenue growth, and operational execution. You’ll work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to strengthen customer partnerships, optimize supply chain performance, and improve processes across the business. This role blends big-picture leadership with day-to-day decision-making and team development.
Mandatory Qualifications: Only candidates who strictly meet the following requirements will be considered for this role:
- Foundational Sales Expertise: A career built on a strong sales foundation with the ability to lead by example in business development.
- Direct P&L Ownership: Proven experience managing the full P&L of a business unit or division.
- GM-Level Leadership: Prior experience acting as a General Manager with a focus on high-level team leadership and operational oversight.
- Global Supply Chain Fluency: Specific experience navigating the complexities of international shipping and importing.
- Industry Experience: 8+ years of progressive leadership within wholesale distribution or a similar environment.
- Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree is required (MBA preferred).
