Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience with required overtime
Type: Temporary (approximately 25-30 days)
Shift: 7pm to 7am (night shift), Monday - Friday
Location: Traveling throughout the Pensacola Florida area visually inspecting power poles and their condition
Field Pole Inspector
Looking for reliable, safety-minded Field Pole Inspectors and Drivers to inspect power and communication poles across the Pensacola, Florida area. The position works outdoors collecting accurate field data that supports utility design and infrastructure projects. Heavy travel and overnight stays required. Vehicle, lodging, and travel expenses are provided
Responsibilities
- Inspect power poles and communication poles and document their condition
- Collect field data and take photos
- Follow safety procedures and communicate with the project team
Requirements
- Able to hike and work outdoors in varied weather and terrain
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to travel regularly, including overnight stays
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently
- Experience in utility, construction, or field inspection work is required
