Job Description Armada Staffing Group Now Hiring: Material Handler – 1st Shift Position Summary Armada Staffing Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler to join a growing team! The Material Handler is responsible for moving, organizing, loading, unloading, and tracking materials throughout a warehouse or manufacturing facility. This position plays an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly by ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations safely and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize, move, and maintain inventory throughout the facility.
- Deliver materials and products to designated work areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material records.
- Keep loading docks, staging areas, and walkways clean and organized.
- Clean and maintain equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is a plus.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
