Job Location: Onsite in Valencia, CA
Shift: hiring for 1st or 2nd shift
Job Salary: $33 - $40/hr + OT
Requirements: 5+ years of industrial maintenance (ideally in food/beverage or Pharma)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance of our industrial equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and repairing equipment to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Perform repairs on various types of machinery and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to improve work processes and safety compliance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals to assist in repairs and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance mechanics with a focus on electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance practices.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with safety compliance standards and practices in an industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
