Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Correctional Healthcare

Location: Lexington, OK

Pay: $44-$46
\n
Schedule: Day Shift-12 hours
\n
Duration: 6–12 Months (Maximum assignment duration: 12 months)
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Perform direct and indirect nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Obtain and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Perform nursing procedures and specialized functions within the scope of LPN licensure.
- Assist with assessing, reporting, and documenting patients’ health status.
- Participate in the development and implementation of appropriate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Report patient information and changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare team member.
- Provide guidance and training to others on routine nursing tasks and activities, as applicable.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow all facility, safety, security, and correctional healthcare policies and procedures.

Requirements
\n
Level I
\n
- \n
- Valid permanent Oklahoma LPN License, or
- LPN license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Entry-level candidates with an active, valid license are encouraged to apply.

Level II

- Valid permanent Oklahoma LPN License, or LPN license recognized by the eNLC.
- At least 1 year of practical nursing experience.
