Release Manager
Location: Greenwood Village, CO (4 days onsite/1 day remote)
Contract Duration: Long term ongoing W2 contract
Pay Range: $60+/hour depending on experience
Overview: The Tech Delivery team at our Fortune 75 MSO client is looking to bring on a Release Manager to help support software releases across the Access Engineering organization. This individual will be working closely with technical teams to oversee software releases to ensure smooth delivery.
Skill Set
- 5+ years of Release Manager experience within a software delivery environment
- Telecom/cable experience would be a nice to have
- Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to work across multiple technical teams
- Ability to create documentation and visualizations around code releases
- Review tickets in JIRA to help track software upgrades and changes
- Strong experience creating presentations
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the release management for the Access Engineering organization
- Will be working closely with technical teams that support software upgrades for CMTS, RPDs and applications that help with network health and monitoring
- Will be responsible for defining release scope, timelines and milestones
- Coordinate with dev, QA and Ops teams to align on schedules
- Creating presentations and visualizations for release work
- Will be the primary point of contact for release updates
- Responsible for identifying potential risks and developing plans to mitigate issues
- Oversee deployment activities
- Maintain release notes and provide post release reports
- Continuously improve process for efficiency and reliability
Interview Process: Will be a two-step interview process. One Webex interview and one onsite interview

Team overview: Will be reporting directly to the GVP of Tech Delivery and will work with 3 other organizations to support software releases across Access Engineering
