Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) is seeking a Senior Cloud Administrator to oversee and optimize our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and performance. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS architecture, cloud automation, and system administration to provision, manage, and maintain mission-critical resources. You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions, streamline deployments, and enhance operational efficiency across cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

  • At least seven (7) years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category.

Certifications

  • WS Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional
  • AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate
  • AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional

Education

  • Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in maintaining a cloud computing infrastructure, ensuring its availability, security, and efficient performance.
  • Work experience with cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and networking concepts.
  • Ability to provision and manage cloud resources, including virtual instances, networking, object/block/file storage, databases, and logging.
  • Ability to administer cloud systems using a variety of methods, including: CLI, console, API, and IaC.
  • Able to manage and automate AWS services using infrastructure as code technologies, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK. Responsibility.
