Stainless TIG Pipe Welder — Indiana
Industrial Trade Services is hiring experienced TIG Pipe Welders for projects in Indiana.
Pay & Schedule
- $42/hour + $160/day per diem
- Approximately 50-70+ hours per week
- Work expected through the end of the year, with additional opportunities afterward
Responsibilities
- TIG weld Schedule 10 stainless steel pipe and fittings.
- Prepare joints, maintain proper fit-up, and set up argon back purge.
- Follow welding procedures, drawings, and project specifications.
- Maintain weld quality and follow jobsite safety requirements.
Requirements
- Industrial stainless steel TIG pipe welding experience.
- Experience welding thin-wall Schedule 10 stainless pipe with an argon back purge.
- Ability to set up welding equipment and control heat input.
- OSHA certification required.
- Must pass the onsite weld test.
Weld Test
- 6″ Schedule 10 stainless steel pipe
- TIG welding with an internal argon back purge
