Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regulatory knowledge to serve as SME and central contact for SEC Rule 17A-13
- Develop partnerships with stakeholders on audit confirmation issues
- Manage and escalate issues posing operational, regulatory, or reputational risk
- Contribute to operational risk projects tied to strategic business initiatives
- Ensure mitigating controls are in place and validate accuracy of procedures, checklists, and reports
- Manage client communication to ensure timely and adequate responses
- Supervise vendor data for quality before submission to auditors/clients
- Prepare and analyze metrics for senior management to provide transparency on team volumes
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel pivot tables, lookup functions, Outlook inbox management)
- Learn firm systems quickly to support daily operations
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, meeting internal deadlines and asking clarifying questions when needed
