Job DescriptionSummary:
We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who can assist with rooming patients, taking and documenting vital signs, completing entry and referrals, and assisting with X-rays and lab procedures. May also be responsible for some indirect patient care and other general clinical support duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which includes lab values, pain levels, and potential complications.
- Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients.
- Monitors and documents patient status.
- Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
- Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner.
- Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, relevant certifications, and strong skills in patient care and medical assistance task.
