Clinical Pharmacist – Phoenix VA Health Care System Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time| Variable Shifts
 
About the Role
We are seeking licensed Clinical Pharmacists to join the Phoenix VA Health Care System. You’ll provide a full range of pharmacy services supporting veterans with safe, effective, and compassionate care.
 
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Dispense and verify provider medication orders in VistA/CPRS.</li>
<li>Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.</li>
<li>Advise providers on drug selection, dosages, and therapeutic alternatives.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations for controlled substances.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate inventory and security of all medications.</li>
<li>Foster a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. State, Territory, or DC (must include controlled substances).</li>
</ul>
 
Schedule
<ul>
<li>8, 11, or 12-hour shifts (days, evenings, nights).</li>
<li>Rotating weekends and holidays required.</li>
