Job DescriptionMarco’s Pizza is seeking a dependable and motivated Shift Lead to support our General Manager in overseeing store operations, with a strong focus on late-night ghost kitchen shifts. While the primary need is for consistent evening and late-night coverage (up to 2:00 A.M.), the ideal candidate should also be flexible and willing to work a range of hours as needed to support the store.
This is a leadership opportunity for someone ready to step up, own their shift, and help drive delivery success through apps like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store operations during assigned shifts (especially closing and late night)
- Manage order flow, monitor third-party delivery platforms, and ensure timely handoffs
- Maintain food quality standards, accurate prep, and a clean, efficient kitchen environment
- Coach and support team members; help resolve customer concerns professionally
- Follow operational procedures for cash handling, nightly reporting, and closing tasks
- Communicate proactively with the General Manager on store needs and performance
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and daytime coverage when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a shift lead, team supervisor, or keyholder (QSR or pizza industry a plus)
- Willing and able to work late-night shifts until 2:00 A.M., consistently
- Open availability or flexibility to pick up additional shifts outside of night hours
- Dependable, punctual, and team-focused with strong communication skills
- Familiarity with delivery platforms (DoorDash/Uber Eats/Grubhub) preferred
- Must be 18+ with valid work eligibility and reliable transportation
- Food handler certification (or ability to obtain one)
