Sullivan Hauling is looking for a skilled and dependable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team in New Oxford, PA. Responsibilities:
- Operate tri-axle dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, stone, and asphalt to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules efficiently and on time
- Communicate with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members to coordinate loads and deliveries
- Maintain accurate driver logs, trip records, and delivery documentation
- Monitor truck performance and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Operate safely in a variety of conditions including construction sites, roadways, and off-road terrain
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proven experience operating tri-axle or heavy dump trucks
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to perform duties associated with hauling operations
