We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful completion of major IT-related initiatives. This is a long-term contract position based in Atlanta, Georgia, where you will coordinate resources, manage project schedules, and ensure quality assurance standards are met. The role requires a proactive leader skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions involving client/server technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams and manage cost, schedule, and compliance
- Deliver end-to-end ServiceNow projects (HAM/SAM modules)
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define scope, goals, and deliverables
- Create and manage project plans, budgets, forecasts, and reports
- Facilitate governance reviews and ensure project alignment with PMO standards
- Monitor project milestones, risks, and quality of deliverables
- Support testing, implementation, and change management activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of IT project management experience
- Experience managing ServiceNow HAM/SAM projects
- Prior experience managing IT projects for utility clients
- Strong skills in project financials, scheduling, and stakeholder communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
