We have an opening for a Web Developer to join our team. This position is key to maintaining our intranet including Microsoft SharePoint development and PHP maintenance. The Web Developer will administer our Databases to serve the needs of the organization, perform analysis on data sets, and provide concise reporting to the organization.
Freshpack is a custom cheese packaging company that develops and innovates cheese products and packaging. Our products can be found in all 50 states and in most major retailers. Over the past 25 years, our team has grown from 15 to 260+ employees. It is an exciting time to join our team, as we are poised for substantial growth over the next 3-5 years.
Duties/Responsibilities
Web Development & Applications
- Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications that directly support manufacturing operations.
- Build reporting tools that provide timely, accurate insights.
- Deploy and manage integration solutions using APIs (REST and similar technologies) to connect systems and streamline workflows.
Data & Database Administration
- Administer databases (MSSQL, MySQL, Access) to meet organizational needs.
- Understand and mine data from various datasets to meet the needs of users.
- Develop dashboards to inform decision-making.
- Automate reports for performance tracking.
- Secure and back-up data, and optimize usage to reduce downtime.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with database administration and report writing (MSSQL, MySQL, SSRS, SSIS, Access, Excel)
- Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, REST API, HMI development
- Basic understanding of Business ERP and Microsoft office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- This is an on-site position.
