Starting as a small 2 bay shop in Philadelphia, we have grown to 10 locations expanding to 4 states on the east coast, offering commercial truck sales, commercial truck rentals, full-service leasing, contract maintenance, parts, and service. Job Summary:
Perform a variety of customer service, in store, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealerships parts department. This position offers a clear career path for individuals interested in growing into a Parts Manager or dealership leadership role. Bentley Truck Services is committed to developing team members through hands-on training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Supports both Customers and Mechanics to assure they get the proper parts which they request.
- Deliver excellent customer service while building long-term customer relationships.
- Promote additional parts and solutions that support customer and shop needs.
- Help drive parts sales growth through communication, follow-up, and product knowledge.
- Process parts orders, invoices, credits, and related paperwork accurately.
- As needed assist internal customers who need parts pulled for work orders.
- Place stock orders utilizing the best practice criteria outlined by both Bentley Truck Services and OEM.
- Locate difficult part items through experience, observation and available resources (computers and/or printed materials).
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 3 years’ experience in customer service, parts sales, trucking, automotive, or dealership operations preferred.
- Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.
- Must be able to work independently with inventory, requires stooping, kneeling, stretching, and at time using a small ladder to reach certain locations.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a shop environment.
- High initiative for process improvement and customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
